Thomas Hand Chaste è un nome che non sarà certo nuovo a chi ha seguito le gesta dei Death SS e del Paul Chain Violet Theatre, dove è stato un batterista chiave per diversi anni. Negli anni successivi, è passato dal punk dei "Cane Mangia Cane" con l'album "Hate e Surf" a sonorità sperimentali con il suo progetto solista omonimo del 2006 "Uno, Nessuno, Centomila". Dopo aver dato vita a progetti come Witchfield, Sancta Sanctorum, When The Sun Comes Down, Mythology e Trisma, ora pubblica un doppio album interamente dedicato alla sperimentazione e alla ricerca.

Con "Insetti", Thomas Hand Chaste sembra costruire un ponte immaginario tra soluzioni classiche e territori sperimentali, dove le infinite atmosfere del progressive rock si contaminano con sonorità ambient oscure e minimaliste e con suoni sporchi di ispirazione industriale, conducendoci a fluttuare tra suoni indefiniti, dove lo spettro delle atmosfere cambia di brano in brano, alternando momenti aspri e ruvidi a fasi più rarefatte, creando un quadro complessivo di sensazioni molteplici e mutevoli. Il secondo capitolo,è un'opera realizzata con il polistrumentista siciliano Felis Catus (attivo sia come solista che in gruppi come Sinoath, Serenades Rhino, Malauriu, Adagio Notturno e Winged). I due hanno già collaborato in precedenza nel progetto Trisma. "Cartesius" è un concept ispirato da letture sulla fisica quantistica, il viaggio musicale intrapreso da Chaste e Catus inizia con la musica elettronica nella sua forma più pura, dove convergono diversi elementi stilistici. Da atmosfere oniriche e suggestive a momenti psichedelici e rumorosi, i due riescono a fondere le proprie influenze, dando vita a una composizione concettualmente coerente.
